Grindley Tunstall England 132 Piece Set of Dishes

You are looking at a beautiful set of dishes that are definitely sufficient for a large family to dine on for Holiday dinners all throughout the year! These dishes set a lovely table. They will not leave you ill-prepared when extra guests turn up unannounced. You will also have enough serving pieces for your dinner table. There is a lovely covered teapot, covered sugar bowl and a matching creamer. There are three platters (sm., med. & lg.) and two large oval vegetable or main dish servers (one with an interchangeable lid) and a med. and small oval serving dish along with a large round main dish serving bowl. There are 15 dinner plates, 10 med. plates (salad plates) and 12 small plates (desert plates). There are 11 soup bowls, 13 med. bowls and 18 small fruit or desert bowls. There are 15 cups and 24 saucers. There is one odd plate (between the sm. & med. size) and an odd bowl with high sides. I do not know what they are used for. Also, with the covered pieces, I did not add the lids into the pieces of the set: teapot, oval serving bowl and sugar bowl. This set of dishes was most probably used only for company. They have been cared for properly as I do not see any wear whatsoever. I would be proud to serve dinner with this tableware. The colors encircling the borders are very rich; cobalt blue, burnt orange, peridot green and gold set on an ivory background. Why not make a bid and display this beautiful ensemble in your china cabinet? Wouldn't it be nice to have this set ready and waiting for the Holidays?
