Old Binoculars (Field Glasses) That Look War Torn

You are looking at a pair of binoculars that literally look like they may have been used in a war. They are heavy and made of brass and metal that was coated with black enamel at one time. They are probably covered in a high grade of brown Moroccan leather. They weigh a little over two and a half pounds. One of the large outer rims of the binoculars has some nicks in it and does not rotate. The other outer rim has some cardboard inserted so it will stay in tact. The turn dial has a place the size of a dime that has been melted (perhaps from shrapnel). All of this considered, they would make a neat conversation piece to have in your study, library or den. They would look nice on bookshelves too. Why not take a look at the pictures of the binoculars and see what you think? The binoculars (field glasses) measure 6.5" L (while extended) x 5&3/16" W. Each large lens is 2&1/8" in diameter. The small lenses measure 11/16" in diameter. One lens has a yellow insert inside for snowy conditions that flips in place when you turn them a certain way. They are heavy and masculine looking and in good condition.
