Imperial Austria PSL (Crown) China + Bavaria stamp

You are looking at a unique sugar bowl and lid, creamer and small compote desert dish with an "M" monogram on each of the pieces. On the back of the compote it is stamped Imperial PSL(with a crown) Austria. Take a look at the pictures and see how unusual the set is. The set is white china trimmed in gold. The flowers are done in unison in a wide gold border encircling each piece. The flowers could be tulips or canna lillies. The set has an art deco sophisticated appearance and is very elegant. A set you would see in Hercule Perot's apartment. The set is an early contemporary set, not Victorian in style. The compote dish has three round gold feet. The sugar bowl is complete with its lid. The set is in perfect condition. Someone, probably an artist at the factory, has marked in gold the back of the sugar bowl "Merry Xmas." There are some other markings in gold on the back of the compote plate that appear to be "No P.N (or W) '11." That could possibly mean 1911. If so, this set is before its time in the styles to come. This set is so beautiful it would fit into any elegant decor. Why not make it yours and give us a bid? The desert compote dish measures 7&1/4" in diameter and sits 1&3/8" high. The sugar bowl base measures 4" in diameter and the creamer base measures 3&5/8".
