Empire Porcelain Sugar Bowl- 22/282- Porcelaine

The item you are looking at is a lovely sugar bowl made by Empire Porcelain in Japan. When I first looked at this I thought it was a miniature gravy bowl because of the shape but I soon realized that would be impractical and figured its a sugar bowl. It is heavily decorated with gold trim. It is in pretty good condition but on the lid on the inside there is a small chip, nothing serious though. It measures 5.75 inches long. The bowl is marked Empire and has the numbers 22/282 on the bottom, see picture for details.
