Sterling Grand Lodge of Maryland Letter Opener 1955

The item you are looking at is a sterling silver handled letter opener from the grand lodge of Maryland. The letter opener has a sterling silver handle which is marked but has no indication as to the maker of the handle. The blade of the letter opener is clean solid stainless steel. This blade is engraved with "Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Maryland 1955". The sterling pattern is of roses simmilar to that of Repousse. The letter opener measures 9 inches in length. This opener is great for both the Sterling and Masonic collector hopefully you are both.
