The item you are looking at is a antique planer. This device gets dragged across a plane of wood and shaves off some of the wood hence the name planer. This is an older planer and is made from cast iron. It appears to be original paint even though some of it is fading. It is in great condition and was made in the USA. It measures 4.5 by 1.5 by 2 inches.
